Officer Responsibilities
 

President-Elect

 

  • Serve as Foundation chair
  • Serve as nomination committee chair.
  • Attend PETS, District Assembly & District Conference.
  • All other responsibilities as indicated by club by laws.
     

Vice-President

 

  • Preside over meetings in absence of President.
  • Assist Secretary as needed.
  • Document club / board minutes and attendance in the absence of the secretary.
  • Assist Secretary in collecting and updating membership data.
  • Attend PETS, District Assembly & District Conference.
  • All other responsibilities as indicated by club by laws.
     

Secretary

 

  • Update and maintain membership records.
  • Develop and implement minute’s procedure for club and board meetings.
  • Manage attendance records.
  • Provide birthday information to programs chair.
  • Recognize each members birthday at appropriate regular meeting.
  • Provide attendance reports on a quarterly basis.
  • Provide member / club reports as requested by the board or president.
  • All other responsibilities as indicated by club by laws.
     

Treasurer

 

  • Provide 2007-2008 budget based on by law guidelines by June 1, 2007 for incoming board review.
  • Present 2007-2008 budget to membership at regular meeting July 11, 2007.
  • Provide financial report to board quarterly.
  • All other responsibilities as indicated by club by laws.
     

Sergeant-at-Arms

 

  • Prepare meeting facility prior to all club and board meetings.
  • Coordinate new member assistance in meeting facility preparation.
  • Manage split-the-pot ticket program.
  • Develop and implement “fun” activities for regular meetings.
